I tried 2 of these VX2250wm monitors and both were fuzzy and had slight discolorations. They both had phase, frequency and size problems. The auto-adjust doesn't clear up the screen image. All of its screen resolutions are blurry.
None
Blurry; discolorations; white light around screen edges
ViewSonic's VX2250wm-LED 22-inch monitor offers a full HD resolution (1920x1080) at a low price. Although it doesn't perform as well as competing displays, the $169 street price ($279 MSRP), combined with both digital and analog inputs, makes this product an attractive option for budget-minded...
Slim profile; Wide viewing angles; Generous 3-year warranty
Colors aren't as deep as other budget models; Lighter colors are too washed out; Lacks HDMI port
LED backlighting is gaining ever more traction in the display market, and ViewSonic has provided us with yet another contender, the 21.5in VX2250wm. This affordable TN-based monitor offers dual inputs, a slim profile, integrated speakers and a (by now standard at this size) Full HD/1080p resolution,...
A 22in LED display that is claimed to "save on your energy bill," the ViewSonic VX2250 LCD monitor has a relatively low price tag. A Full HD resolution, its LED backlighting and decent image quality are impressive, but the lack of an HDMI input may be a deal breaker.
Attractive design; good image quality; intuitive on-screen display; decent value
No HDMI port; limited stand adjustability; poor vertical viewing angles

The sub-£150 flat-panel displays sector has been receiving plenty of new blood in recent months. The 21.5in ViewSonic VX2250wm takes most of the best bits from what's already there, and melds them into a quietly impressive little screen.
At the risk of wheeling out a tired cliché, it really is a great time to buy a new monitor at the moment. Most manufacturers have launched their LED-backlit models and - as ever - are all competing intensely on price.
I picked this up at a pawn shop for $95. I highly recommend it if you can pick it up on sale and you're looking for a deal. For $160 (current Newegg price after discount) I would probably go with something else.
Great colors, crisp, thin; Very bright for sunny rooms; Nice and straight forward OSD
I know not to expect much from built-in speakers but it's like they actually took the speakers out of a PSP and built them into the back of the monitor facing straight backwards; They're beyond horrible; The dynamic contrast isn't that great.
