You may not have heard of Supermassive Games before. The studio previously worked on PlayStation peripheral titles, like the Move-specific Tumble and Start the Party or the Wonderbook title Walking with Dinosaurs.

What a surprise

I was surprised about how good this game is, my first thought when picking it up was omg it's going to be terrible but as I played through this rpg horror I felt so immersed it felt as if it was happening to me! Not a lot of games can do this but this one did!

Review: Until Dawn (PlayStation 4)

If you told me that Persona would branch off into a rhythm game years ago I would've snarled and gone back to playing Persona 4. Here we are, 2015 and I'm reviewing Persona 4: Dancing All Night for the PlayStation Vita. And guess what? It works and works really...

The world is creepy; atmospheric; Choices hold weight to them; The characters are interesting; Chilling soundtrack; The death scenes

Dr; Hill, Underused characters left as DLC, Motion controls felt wonky

Until Dawn PlayStation 4

I love this game. I am a big horror movie fan (particularly slasher), and this allows me to direct my own movie again and again. The characters are well written, and the premise is brilliant. There are so many different variations of the ending and each is worth getting to. This game never gets old.

Jump scares!

This was even better than I expected! The game is fantastic (or should I say, interactive movie) Brilliant graphics, intuitive gameplay and thought provoking choices. The story slowly unravels the more you play. It makes you want to keep playing to see what happens next.

Until Dawn

I have a very specific problem with games that try too hard to be like films. That hasn't prevented me from enjoying games that have such aspirations, but the fact remains. To me, the modern video game is a storytelling medium that emphasizes player agency above everything else.

Until Dawn PS4 Review

Until Dawn is what can only be described as an interactive horror film, paying homage to a multitude of horror tropes and clichés and harks back to the days when horror films made you dread the thought of staying at a cabin.

Until Dawn is a video game that should jump to the "to-play" pile for those gamers who love classic horror and want to see the high-quality that the PlayStation 4 can deliver when it comes to faces and character interactions.

Character interactions; Graphics quality; Focus on choice and consequence

Reliance on Quick Time Events; Some scenes are too long

Until Dawn Review

With a shallow bench of high-quality exclusives for the PS4, Until Dawn is an impressive entry into the horror genre. The pacing of the narrative is spot on, and even if you wander around an area before heading to a main objective, the story never feels like it drags.

Strong storytelling and plot twists; Reputation and character trait system; Totems are useful for survival and hints; Well-executed mise en scène; Failing can be fun

Can't adjust timer setting difficulty for QTEs; Tags

Until Dawn: Rush of Blood Review

'Until Dawn: Rush of Blood' expertly exploits VR to breathe terrifying new life into classic scare tactics.

Solid VR jump scares; Shooting with motion controllers feels great; Until Dawn connection rewards fans without confusing newcomers

Unimaginative; DualShock control scheme not as good as Move
