I remember being skeptical of this game when it first released due to the art style and nautical theme. However, it's easily one of my favorite Zelda games.

This review comes from Digitally Downloaded Since its unveiling at Nintendo Direct in January, I couldn't help but feel a remake of Nintendo's Game Cube classic, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, was a bit pointless.

The Wind Waker is a very colorful, and fun game! It's the game in the franchise that I'd recommend to players wanting to start this franchise. The artstyle is very colorful, the gameplay can be challenging, and the world is a little bit more open in this one.

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD overachieves. The holy grail of video game remakes is to provide an experience as good as you remember the original being; Wind Waker HD goes the extra step and is better than you remember.

This is probably my least favourite Zelda. I can't seem to get into it like I did with some other great Zelda titles. The graphics are awesome and the dungeons and monsters are very cool and origin, but I just hate the boat so much it ruins the game for me.

I love all the nintendo consoles but i especially love the zelda special editions, and this does not let me down! The beauriful yet subtle golden etching on the game pad just gives this a much more luxury feel! Also Wind Waker HD is a brilliant remaster!

Works great on the Wii U. Graphics aren't the exact same as the original, but that's to be expected. The game itself is just as I remembered too. I'm obsessed!

Great and accessible version of one of the true great Zelda games. The crisp graphics of the Wii U breath new life in to an already great looking game, the gameplay remains largely unchanged from the original but with a far better price tag than the gamecube version!
