Brilliant fun

This game is great. I've played about 7 hours and it's been nothing but joy. I can't believe how good this game looks and how well it plays. It doesn't look like a remake of a gamecube game, and it doesn't feel like what I expected from a remake of a gamecube game.

-Visually beautiful -Conceptually beautiful -Excellent music -Pro controller compatible -Timeless; fun gameplay

I don't generally find it particularly easy to keep track of what I'm doing; After working, and not being able to play for a couple days, when I came back I had kind of lost context for what I was doing; There's nothing like a quest log or anything, from what I can tell.

WindWaker illustriously reborn, Speechless.

This is the best day of my life for having even witnessed the beauty and share amazingness of my favorite childhood game in glorious 1080p HD. it looks stunning, the visuals are tear inducing, the memories it evokes. The fun, the joy of the endless amazement of windwaker will last a life time.

Off the Charts

It's funny how different The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker 's notoriously cartoonish style looks now that we've stopped being frustrated with Nintendo's refusal to shift away from their family-friendly image.

Holy crap; this game still looks good

The Triforce hunt; and being fooled into believing that it'd been severely overhauled

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD review

That's not a fitting fate for this Zelda and certainly not for this Link, with all his vivid urgency. It's why we need excellent re-releases like this. Just like its young hero, The Wind Waker is crisp and energetic, spirited and soulful, just a little bit wayward - and it hasn't aged a day.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD

Once again the story of Link battling the forces of evil who hope to obtain the Triforce, what Wind Waker lacks in an original setup it makes up for on this new land you're able to explore. Gone are the green fields and high mountains of Hyrule, and in its place is the Great Sea.

Wii U Review - 'The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD'

Link sails the high seas and searches for clues to his sister's disappearance. He uses the Wind Waker to compose songs that control wind patterns and summon cyclones. Connect the Game Boy Advance, and players can summon the mapmaker Tingle to uncover secrets to help Link in his voyage.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (WiiU) - Review

The Wind Waker didn't get a fair shake when it was first revealed in 2002. Many fans decried the game for its "cartoon" graphics, moving away from the more "realistic" graphical style found in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (and Nintendo's GameCube tech demo shown at Spaceworld).

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD overachieves. The holy grail of video game remakes is to provide an experience as good as you remember the original being; Wind Waker HD goes the extra step and is better than you remember.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD

If the game is too easy for you, you can set "Hero Mode" at any time from the loading screen. This mode doubles the damage enemies deal and removes all recovery hearts from the game, so you'll have to rely on fairies and potions to heal you.

Art style is gorgeous in high-definition; Gameplay still stands up; Hero Mode is flexible and can add challenge

Navigating the ocean can still be a little boring; No true "Master Quest.

[INTRO DU SERPENT] The Legend of Zelda : The Wind Waker
