Excellent!

Absolutely love these plugs, which make it possible to control certain appliances with voice control using Google Assistant. Works like a charm and super easy to set up. But be warned (I didn't know this until I got one home) they do not work with appliances that go into standby.

TP-Link HS100 Smart Wi-Fi Plug

I used this with Alexa. Easy to set up and works well. The click when switching is quite loud.

Quick to Install - Easy to Manage

So, TP Link sent me this product to test and try out. I have to say, it has really helped my family out in our quest to have a good system to manage our lighting at our 2nd residence. We want to keep unwanted eyes into knowing when we are there or not and this product does it.

30 sec to set up, very very reliable, simple to use, I can operate from my phone from wherever I am as long as I have internet on the phone; I have 12 of them; This is and has been my number 1 choice for the last 2 years

A bit bulky but it doesn't affect the second socket on a double

TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi Plug HS100 review

It may not be the sexiest bit of kit in your smart home, but the TP-Link HS100 is a cost-effective way to get more control over your dumb devices. The Kasa app has tonnes of features and can even monitor how much power each device is using, making the HS100 a source of information as well as a way...

Neat design; Google Home; Alexa and IFTTT support; Good value; No special internet hub required

Depth could present a problem; Doesn't support Apple HomeKit; or generate IFTTT triggers; 2W power consumption

Best Energy Monitoring Device Available

About me: I'm a Newegg eggXpert. I've been designing computers since the 1970s, I specialize in high performance systems. Newegg provides experts with review copies of the devices but we receive no compensation and we are instructed to give honest reviews even if they are bad.

Pros I love the HS110 Smart plug; I recently bought a Kill A Watt energy monitor to try and get a handle on my massive electricity bills; I found it a pain to use because the only way to read it is to get down on you hands and knees with a flashlight and try to read the dim LCD screen.

I worry about security when using cloud enabled devices; I have a couple of WiFI networks, an insecure network that uses the WiFI on my Verizon router, and a secure network that's run off of a better router that connects it's WAN port to Verizon router, I regard the Verizon Router as no different...

First two weeks: working flawlessly and easy to set up

I have four of these in my house. 2 are running scheduled timers for lights and 2 I need to control when home or away. Pros: - Seems to have a good signal even in far corners of the house - No problems (so far) controlling through the internet when away from home - Fairly easy to set up - Quick...
