This is a great product that you can plug in anywhere in your home to extend internet. Speeds are acceptable much better than wifi depending how far you are from the source router

Great product; can plug in anywhere

Worked instantly, easy to set up.

Worked instantly, easy to set up. Got these just to try them as I wanted a wired connection to my PC upstairs from the router which is down stairs. My upstairs and downstairs socket circuits are on 2 separate ring mains (different circuit breakers in the consumer unit (or fuse board)) so I wasn't...

TP-Link AV500 Passthrough Powerline WiFi kit review

The TP-Link AV500 Passthrough Powerline WiFi kit is a nicely priced, and speedy set of fully featured Powerline adapters. We like the number of Ethernet ports, integrated power socket and Wi-Fi hotspot. Our only word of warning is that these aren’t best designed for houses with low to the floor power sockets because of the placement of the second adapter’s Ethernet ports. Otherwise it’s a good choice.

Work Well

Have been using this for a little while now and they are very good. Very handy not having cables everywhere. I notice that the connection does drop sometimes but I'm not sure if this is the adapter or just our internet connection

Great way to eliminate wires

I used this to extend the internet connection to our basement and I had the xbox and tv connected and working in 15minutes. You can use this to eliminate ethernet cables and maintain the speed to consoles or computers away from your modem without running long cables throughout the house.

First off, when they say you have to be on the "same circuit", they aren't lying. As a "whole home" solution to extend a wired network, I just don't see how this is feasible. I have a 1900sq/ft single story house. My office is in the front of the house (as well as my home network setup).

As advertised

Installed easily. 5 days now and seems to be working well. It seems to make the bridge 2 different circuits in the same overall service. Probably through the service entrance.Fingers crossed. Best ever... So far. To extend the LAN to a 3rd station. Had to buy another starter kit, but that's okay!

Worked the first try!

I wanted access to the net from my workshop..about 150 feet away. I used these units, plugged in and worked..had it going in 3 minutes, fast and reliable.

Simplicity Itself!

Connect one to your Wi-Fi router, plug it in, press the largest button, then go to the room you want internet in, connect the second to your device, plug in and press the largest button (within two minutes of the first) and you're up and at 'em! Simples, like that annoying Russian meerkat says!

Simple to use

I purchased this product to move my modem from out of sight as well as elevating it to try to improve signal strength, the power line is simple to install you just plug and play with the included Ethernet wires, I will be purchasing more in the near future
