When it was all said and done, one can safely assume that fans of the Street Fighter series will be pleased with this new installment. While Tekken inspirations are definitely a bit scarce, Street Fighter X Tekken still retains the best elements of both franchises.

I was keen to give this a go, I mean how great, Street Fighter and Tekken all in one game. I wasn't sure which games mechanics they were going to use as it turns out they've gone a whole different way, the fighting mechanics of neither great games instead a new, messy, poorly constructed one.

The first of two crossover games, Street Fighter X Tekken is Capcom's fighting game with Namco's characters. This is an interesting move for both developers, as one franchise is a 2D fighter while the other is focused around 3D .

It should go without saying that Street Fighter and Tekken are two of the top fighting franchises in video games. Putting the two together was a logical call for Capcom and Namco Bandai, and this collaboration is by no means a failure.
