Street Fighter V Review

The story has never really taken the forefront in the Street Fighter franchise and Street Fighter V is definitely not going to be bucking that trend – at least not yet. The game takes place between the events of Street Fighter III and the more recently released Street Fighter IV – giving Capcom more...

I have had a week of tearing my beard hair out. I have been waiting a long time for Street Fighter V (SFV) , but this isn't what I was waiting for. Not by a long shot. The fighting itself, the actual game part that, by most people's standards at least, is all that really matters, is amazing.

Beautiful game | Amazing combat systems

Lack of content | Server issues

Street Fighter V Review – PlayStation 4

Street Fighter as a series… as a franchise… is the brass ring of fighting games. Street Fighter 2 is arguably the template that all other fighters are judged by, and its subsequent releases have been a series of peaks and valleys that follow in the spirit of that seminal release.

Positives Paced, deliberate fighting; Gorgeous visuals; Solid mix of old and new characters that complement each other

Negatives Entire sections of the game are missing; Unreliable online features; Core content stripped for future DLC

PS4 Review: Street Fighter V

Street Fighter V is a superb fighting game, without a doubt…but it just feels unfinished in terms of content. I'm sure it'll be fleshed out over time through DLC and patches, I just wish it launched in a more complete state.

Street Fighter V

You might have heard that the launch version of Street Fighter V lacks an arcade mode, a fighting-game standard that gives players the opportunity to go best-out-of-three rounds with the computer and hone their skills through trial and error.

Brilliant

One of the greatest fighting games series ever, not quite as good as the SFIV in my opinion as everything is going down the extra download route!

Street Fighter V Arcade Edition Review

Street Fighter V has been an evolving game since its initial release in 2016. While the game got off to a somewhat shaky start, we've seen balance

Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition Review

Arcade Edition marks the completion of a transformation from bare-bones fighting game with a rock-solid core to a fully featured example of the genre at its best. The new V-Triggers are sure to shake up the competitive scene, while the nostalgic new modes breathe new life into the single-player...
