Lack of features not described!

A good product BUT it doesn't have reticule display nor the Sports <20 metres focus - I checked the Steiner site for the fuller specification.. Amazon - you should be more careful about your descriptions and draw attention to variants of the model and their features.

Very happy with the Binoculars

I found the Steiner Navigator 7x50 Binoculars easy to set up and as advertised, they are in focus from 20m to infinity making them exceptionally to use. In addition, the image is bright and crystal clear, just the thing for navigation. The inbuilt compass is great for getting a quick bearing.

Very nice!

Not perfect, but worth the many. Excellent night vision. Compact, waterproof. Matirials quality 8/10 Day vision 7/10 Liltle chromatic adoration in day and some visual distortion. A bit dizzy if you move it around fast. The "sport auto focus" working very good!

worth the extra money, you wont regret for buying the best

great binocular. autofocus is incredible, so fast you don't even notice it adjusting - seems to always be in focus no matter how close or far you look at. the clarity is beautiful even in low light or at night you can see clearly. I would highly recommend. you can definitely feel the quality.

Steiner Navigator 7x50

If you look for marine binoculars the German Steiner company offers you two specialized series: the cheaper Navigator and the more expensive Commander. In both cases you deal with Porro prism 7x30 and 7x50 instruments, available with or without compass.

very solid and waterproof casing; very good correction of chromatic aberration; negligible distortion; moderate coma; sharp image across almost all field of view; low brightness loss of the image on the edge of the field of view

prism optical elements lack coating; truncated exit pupils; darkened on the very edge; inside of the tubes leaves a lot to be desired
