Great value. Solid performer

I wanted to be able to increase the number of usb-c devices I could attach to my laptop via its one usb-c port. This hub is one of the few that has two usb-c ports on it so, in theory, I'd get another usb-c port at hopefully near usb-c speeds. But, just out of the box, not to be: the data transfer speed going through the hub is quite a bit slower than the direct connection to the laptop (and I don't mean two devices going at once). Maybe that's what I should have expected but it is a disappointment.
