Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed provided an interesting twist to the endless collection of games based on LucasFilm's movie saga. The game introduced us to an array of completely new faces in the Star Wars universe, in addition to Starkiller, a very interesting character, capable of wielding some...

Great visuals; great voice acting and cool (very familiar) Star Wars soundtrack; tossing enemies and objects around is still fun

Unacceptably short campaign; little to entangle players beyond the usual destructive and overpowering abilities of the main character; weak story and characters

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

When it's not soiled by revisionist talk of midichlorians or a "chosen one," the Force is still the coolest thing in the universe. Really, who wouldn't want the powers of a god and an anything-slicing energy sword? Anyone?

+ Enhanced combat is the highlight of the game; new abilities add spark, + Some gaffes from last time (QTE abuse and confusing boss battles) are addressed

- Story lacks Star Wars grandeur; finale is fairly lame; short game, ? Can we get Starkiller in a TV series or movie?

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

With lightsabers in both hands, Kevin VanOrd uses the dark side of the Force for this video review.

Great cutscenes and voice acting give the story poignancy; Rich art design makes certain environments stand out; Dual sabers and Force powers can make for fun combat

Lacks enemy and environmental variety; Inconsistent level of difficulty; The final boss fight is too long and too easy

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II Review

2008's Star Wars: The Force Unleashed reportedly sold seven million units. So, it's no surprise its Vader's-secret-apprentice protagonist has--spoiler alert!--cheated death to return in a sequel.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (Xbox360)

I'm going to come swinging right out the gate here and say I wasn't much impressed with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. It's repetitive, the combat is frustrating and unresponsive, production values are all over the place, and it's a very short experience.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2

The Force Unleashed II is a big disappointment as far as sequels go, and the game doesn't really live up to any of the promises that were made in terms of plot or content. We were told that Starkiller's return would be justified, explained and interesting, but it's none of those things and the...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

Dual lightsabers, disposable stormtroopers and an ominous overture: welcome to The Force Unleashed II or, the return of Starkiller, Calvin Klein jaw and shorn hair intact. While the developers do their best to justify the existence of this sequel, the narrative never ascends to the heights of its...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2

The Force Unleashed 2 should honestly have never been made. There is very little content and even less creativity to speak of, the gameplay problems from the first game have not been properly solved, and the story is a blemish on the Star Wars franchise.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

When gamers first popped in their copies of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed , they expected to see plenty of destruction as delivered by cranked-up versions of Force powers, and that's exactly what they got.
