There's a few limitations for sure. Control of the exposure AND frames per second at the same time. Difficult to create and reduce a depth of field. I don't believe a filter will help with the depth of field as you still have to struggle with the frame speed, but Hey!

This little camera has a lot of features that pros use...except lanc. Records to an sd card and very long battery life. Mic jack and headphone jack are very necessary and good quality video.
