I bought this tripod to support a small barn door astro photo system. I owned a similar Slik tripod 25 years ago but it was lost in hurricane Katrina. This model is not as sturdy as my earlier Slik due to the all plastic head.

Folds Small; Lightweight; Unfolds Quickly
I've owned two of these U9000 tripods and both have suffered the same basic failure - the height-adjustment handle snapped off.
Yes, this is an inexpensive "value" product, but it would make much more sense if the rotating handle assembly was manufactured from a metal allow...
Lightweight
Weak Construction
I'm really happy I found this tripod. It's full-featured and allows you to hold the camera steady at pretty much any angle and orientation other than straight down. Everything moves smoothly. The knobs take a few minutes to get used to, but you get the hang of it quickly. It's also quick to set up.
Full-featured; Inexpensive; Quick setup
Level in bad location; No case or strap
