When Tony Hawk unleashed his franchise into the gaming arena almost 11 years ago (bet you feel old now!) an entirely new genre of gaming was created. The initial buzz began to dwindle however with the countless spin-offs and sequels causing many of us to lose count after Tony Hawk's 57!

Skating At least it doesn't come with a plastic board. Welcome back to the EA Review Hour. Our regular features are back, so we'll be discussing whether or not this sequel adds anything new, exactly how much you can expect EA to sodomise your wallet and how dreadful the soundtrack is.

When I got this game, I blazed through the main story. I didn't play halo or CoD for a while because of this game! Great main story ( not really a story just missions) and awesome replay value.

[...] It also worked out cheaper buying it new from here than it was buying it second hand from a shop in town. Bargain.

the game in itself is great, there is some patch comming soon to fix all the stuff that is wrong with it, oh and there is alot wrong with it online. other then that the game is really good. for me OG is the best skate of the series. but skate 3 is really close to OG (Skate 1) then skate 2 was ever!

Got this game today. It's a great game. There is so much to do within the game world. At first the controls are slightly confusing, but after playing about with the game you soon get to grips with them!

Great game but didn't like the achievements :)

I brought it for my daughters friend because it was her birthday.she played the game with my daughter ,they said it was a really excellent game.the graphics were ok but it is an old game.But it's there favorite.

The Skate series has earned a name for itself as one of the best skating games available today. While the competition hasn't seen much success in the later years of its career, the Skate series has always managed to bring something fresh to the table, without changing the core gameplay that makes it...

If you've played the other Skate games, this one is pretty similar. Few upgrades, different map, etc. Online play might be better, but offline it's pretty much the same.
