Excellent fun, easier to learn than standard Civilization games

A slightly simplified and polished version of Civilization. Excellent Game! This is one of the few LAN games that doesn't require Xbox live to play.

Sid Meier`s Civilization Revolution

Civilization has always been the king of the turn-based empire building games, and its creator Sid Meier a bona fide deity in the gaming world. Civilization Revolution brings Civ style gaming to the console world for the first time, with pretty respectably results.

Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution Review:- A Revelation More Than A Revolution

"` I have a new theory about the fall of the Roman Empire. Forget the fact that the Empire had expanded too far to be defendable, that the population had too many different cultures with its own agendas, that the army was made up of too many mercenaries, or that Roman society was only a consumer...

Still playing after years of ownership

I've been playing Civilization Revolution for years now and it's still fun to pick up and play. It is much simpler than other Civilization iterations, but that simplicity works for console gaming.

Nearly all the Civ fun your used to with a much simpler interface

"lego" voicework can be annoying; not as challenging or complex as other Civ iterations

simplified but still good

if youre a passionate fan of the PC version, try the demo first. Lots of PC fans don't like Revolution's differences. Personally, I like 'em both. Also, shouldn't there be some sort of sequel to this already

Despite being dumbed down a bit vs the PC versions and streamlined to make games shorter and less involved; its still addictive and fun

game still has some minor annoying bugs that will never be fixed; Navitaging through units to find that one you accidentally skipped can be a pain

Sid Meier's Civilization: Revolution

Shorter than expected and I can't see this being a game to come back to time and time again. Worth experiencing though - and I'm glad I rented it rather than buying it.

Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution

Not all gamers are twitchy, impatient freaks high on BALLZ energy drinks; some prefer to reflect, weigh their options, and, most import...

Endlessly replayable; The promise of DLC; Simple interface

Initial befuddlement; Need for pizzazz; Losing whole afternoons playing
