Still playing after years of ownership

I've been playing Civilization Revolution for years now and it's still fun to pick up and play. It is much simpler than other Civilization iterations, but that simplicity works for console gaming.

Nearly all the Civ fun your used to with a much simpler interface

"lego" voicework can be annoying; not as challenging or complex as other Civ iterations

simplified but still good

if youre a passionate fan of the PC version, try the demo first. Lots of PC fans don't like Revolution's differences. Personally, I like 'em both. Also, shouldn't there be some sort of sequel to this already

Despite being dumbed down a bit vs the PC versions and streamlined to make games shorter and less involved; its still addictive and fun

game still has some minor annoying bugs that will never be fixed; Navitaging through units to find that one you accidentally skipped can be a pain

Sid Meier's Civilization: Revolution

Shorter than expected and I can't see this being a game to come back to time and time again. Worth experiencing though - and I'm glad I rented it rather than buying it.

Civilization Revolution Review

Civ fans across the world collectively gasped at the news that a new, console-exclusive Civilization game had been announced. Would this spell the end for Sid's legendary weekend-long epic multiplayer, and monstrously deep gameplay

Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution Review:- A Revelation More Than A Revolution

"` I have a new theory about the fall of the Roman Empire. Forget the fact that the Empire had expanded too far to be defendable, that the population had too many different cultures with its own agendas, that the army was made up of too many mercenaries, or that Roman society was only a consumer...

Review: Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution (XBOX 360)

I'm not much of a strategist these days but there's two things that piked my interest in Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution (Civ Rev). So with these two conflicts solidly implanted in my mind, it was with much intrigue that I have spent the last few weeks exploring Sid Meier's Civilization...

* Involving; addictive; expansive; * Very intuitive for a console strategy game; * Each game unique and interesting

* Could stand a visual improvement; * Multiplayer can be slow and clunky; with no saving; * "Where did the last 5 hours go

Civilization Revolution Review

Civilization is the brain child of Sid Meier and has been with us since the original back in 1991 which launched on the PC (good ol DOS days) and has attracted a legion of fans since. With over 5 million copies of the original game being sold one can't often think do all good things come to an end

Sid Meier's Civilization: Revolution Review

Sid Meier's Civilization: Revolution is easily the most effective and most addictive strategy game ever to be released on a console, and is worth a shot for anyone interested in the franchise or genre at all.
