I couple the ME66 with the K6 power module, and use it for audio coverage at weddings as well as on indy movie sets (on a boom pole) to record actors' dialog. The super cardioid pattern is great for picking up audio up to 4 feet in front of the mic.

This microphone is incredible!!! Works great in a variety of applications. I use it almost every work day and it is extremely reliable.

I use a pair of ME66/K6 with a pair of R0DE NTG-3 similar gun type microphones in a 4 mic array for recording distant wildlife sounds and have made some fantastic recordings of Screech Owls at night with this setup.
