Value for money.
Stable connection, seldom drop out. Sound from these headphones rival that of my HD25 with a very subtle difference in dynamic. Design and build are a bit industrial but look beyond that you will have a pair of solid wireless headphones. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and I am fussy with my audio gear.
As true wireless earbuds gain in popularity, we’re seeing far fewer wireless headphone releases than we typically do, especially when it comes to affordable models. Thus, Sennheiser's $69.95 HD 250BT headphones feel like a breath of fresh air, and the fact that they look and sound good is just icing on the cake. They deliver a solid, reliable mix of accurate lows and detailed highs, making them attractive for audiophiles. Throw in an app with adjustable EQ and support for AptX and AAC codecs, and you’ve got a budget-friendly pair of Bluetooth headphones for those who care about audio quality more than anything else.Function Over Form From a visual standpoint, the black HD 250BT headphones have an understated cool about them. Sennheiser keeps things simple and functional, and the result is fairly stylish. The supra-aural (on-ear) cups manage to create a reliable seal against the outside world, with padding that may not feel plush, but is firm and helps prove a stable fit. That said...
The audiophile-friendly Sennheiser HD 250BT Bluetooth headphones deliver an accurate sound signature for well under $100.
Affordable; Accurate bass depth matched with solid high-frequency clairty; App has adjustable EQ; Support for both AAC and AptX codecs
Headband could be more comfortable; Not for those seeking robust bass
Not luxurious, and not exactly stacked with features – but the Sennheiser HD 250BT have it where it counts. The fact that the HD 250BT don’t look, or feel, any more costly than they are is more than compensated for by the sound they make.
Open, revealing and engaging sound, Some EQ adjustment available, Lighter and more comfortable than they look
Not what you’d describe as ‘plush’, Bass could sound heftier, A little headband padding would be nice
Sennheiser promise top technology for not much money with the HD 250BT: battery life of up to 25 hours, sound adjustments via an app and modern audio codecs for perfect picture-sound synchronisation. They’re aiming to deliver premium features for less than 70 euros.
