Sennheiser CX300-B

Iwas disappointed after my first day. the rubber tips are so thin and flexible it's hard to get them into your ears. I have an apple classic Ipod and I messed around for a half hour with the bass, loudness, treble, eq functions and I could not get as good of sound as I could with the factory ones...

These are substancially better than the EP-630, but still they are dreadful comparing to the Philips SHE9500 or the MX500. They offer good bass impact and extension, but its quality leaves much to be desired. It's badly seperated from the mids. Their highs are decently-detailed and bright.

Sennheiser Cx 300S

Okay enough, not a great fit even with different sized buds. They do the job but probably just as good with the cheaper sony ones, I had a pair & they were pretty much the same (the buds fitted better) & you'll save £20 or so. So yeah, pretty average regardless of the higher price point.

For their price, the CX 300's offer a more than adequate replacement for your standard iPod headphones in terms of sound quality; and you'll also be pretty pleased with their bass levels.

Aesthetically pleasing; Excellent bass levels; Price

Mid Range lacks some detail

Sennheiser CX300 Review

Though the CX300 can't compete with other canalphones we have reviewed, clocking in at half the price, and with unmatched comfort, the CX300 comes out on top for value. The unique hybrid design of being part canalphone, part ear bud will appeal to those who find traditional canalphones...

Custom sleeves for proper fitting; good sound quality

Poor sound isolation; fragile feeling

Sennheiser CX 300

The music player is the bringer of sweet mercy to the noise, filth and crowd-addled commuter. If a stressful journey on public transport is part of your daily routine, investing in a good set of earphones to block out the misery of it all could make a real difference to your quality of life.

Very comfortable to wear

No carry case

Big product for tiny ears

I've got stupid narrow ear canals. Nothing I can do about it except perhaps a full rebore and it doesn't stop me hearing things properly in the course of my normal life. The only problem is that whenever I try to wear in-ear headphones, they drop straight out.
