I had this drive running for 66 days before it crapped out. Without warning. One day, working a treat; the next day, suddenly, loads of clicking and, if I was very lucky, my computer might see that it existed and had data on it.

As usual Seagate branded item. This is my 14th HDD from Seagate. Be careful with the adapter, it is sensitive to power fluctuations and good earthing is must. Do not keep it running when not in use, this increases the chance for better longivity of the drive.

Great if you want at home back up. really good value for money. Its not that quite, compared to other seagate non-powered external HD I've used. Sounds louder than my laptop fan.
