I am using this disc as a Time Machine backup disc on my iMAC. It just does the job. It also takes up very little space.

This is a good drive, it's fast. USB 3 97mb/s read. Also, it never fails to detect or work and so is reliable. The only reason I didn't give it a fifth star is because you are paying a few pounds more for the red case, but for some it's worth it.

The package said compatible with PC's or MAC. To use with PC, you have to go to their website, format it, and then re-format it to remove all the junk the first format puts on it. Seems to work OK as a back-up drive. Nice small size.

This summer Seagate, the masters of storage, released their huge 750gb hard drives. Hot on it's heals came their external version. With 750gb of portable storage, there really isn't much out there that you can't jam into this unit! Are you attempting to download every MP3 or video on the Internet?

This is my 3rd hard drive I have...super fast, reliable and plenty of storage. Was using the 4TB WD Passport Pro prior however this is quicker and cheaper! Win win...wish they offered thunderbolt adapter is my only disapproval.

Good value. Initially I installed the optional "Seagate Dashboard". Since this 2TB drive is for Apple's Time Machine, this was a mistake. Dashboard yields nothing of value. Worse, it clobbered the Desktop icons for Time Machine.
