Decent portable HDD
It's nice to see USB 3.0 adoption but their isn't really any reason for this device to use USB 3.0 since it is an HDD and can't really saturate the USB 2.0 link to begin with. I am happy it uses the usb 3.0 full size micro USB connector since it isn't as delicate as the 2.0 connector but still would...
Before I continue I just want to get this out of the way; this is an external hard drive, no more, no less. I just want to make sure that everyone is aware because there is only so much you can expect from a piece of storage media like this.
Other than the obvious cons of using an HDD over an SSD I didn't see too many issues with this device other than the connectivity; One of the most annoying problems is that every time you want to plug the drive into a Windows PC you need to install drivers.
