Good but not perfect

Well, the only thing I'm not happy with it that the device loses wifi sometimes. That's annoying. All other features work fine.

purchase at local staples Samsung M2885SFW

Fantastic. It installed in 1/10th the time of the same type HP or Brothers. Samsung even went into all of my softwares and made their printer the default printer. My Income Tax software (CPA Grade) normally forces 20 manual default lines multiplied by many back years. Equals 100 manual lines.

Very Good Mono Printer

I've been dithering about getting this model for over a year: it is a Which? Best Buy and has more features than I really needed or wanted (i.e., includes a fax). Have only used it a couple of times so far and, after not having a printer for a couple of years (or rather a dud Kodak printer which was...

Slowly Becoming a Paperweight

Samsung service was difficult to get, email resulted in canned responses that clearly came from someone who didn't read the email. The live chat was helpful but due to my location service is impossible without shipping (and it is not light) Between the problems with this, a Samsung laptop that...

Print quality is great Toner is cheaper than a lot of other printers and seems to last Flatbed scanner and feeder work flawlessly (no jams yet) Speed is quicker than a previous Brother laser

Slowly breaking down with less than a year in service First the WiFi started dropping frequently - Firmware upgrade that was recommended made things worse Moved to NIC card and it is doing the same thing - Replaced the Router just in case as the CISCO problems were known for WiFi Had to reinstall...

great printer for the price!

This printer does everything a small office could ask. The print quality is great, the print and scan speed is great, and the footprint is small - which allows each workstation to have a printer. The printer works with both wired and wireless setup - which we have both.

This purchase did not disappoint

I have had my Xpress Printer M2885 for just two weeks, so far so great, meets and actually exceeds my home office needs. My primary goal was to purchase a solid non-color printer with two-sided printing capability and this printer meets those needs.

Excellent and great value

Very good value and very cheap to run. It produces prints quickly and reliably. It is very simple and easy to maintain. We keep a spare ink cartridge, because there is very little warning it has ended. I would recommend it

Print & Scan Fast and easily

Easy to set-up with Ubuntu - download the drivers and run the install (sudo ./install.sh) - simple-scan works from the tray and flat bed (sudo apt-get install simple-scan) Need to print and sign documents on occasion. This is a cheap solution and I like toner better than ink which always dries up.

easy to set-up - fast scanner from flat bed or tray - fast printing

- no colour

Excellent Product for the Price

I bought a Samsung mono multifunction printer Model Xpress M2880FW. It was on sale at an amazing low price. I have been using it for a month now. Excellent output. No problem installing the software and am using it wirelessly for two desktop computers.
