I am president of an all-volunteer nonprofit that needed a laser printer for a low-income volunteer to use. She's bright, but a computer novice. Yet she was able to quickly get this printer / copier / scanner up and running with a Wi-Fi connection in fewer than 15 minutes.

Very disappointed. Constant glitches and when I tried to reach out for technical support, discovered that HP acquired Samsung and HP is not willing to support this product. Go elsewhere.

Dont buy this. Phone extension when in use wakes up printer and it stays on

I am totally upset with Samsung releasing this printer without quality checking its sleep mode when extension phone is in use. Every time I start or receive a telephone call using its extension jack to hook up my telephone, the Samsung machine boots up and makes noise for 30 seconds.

Great looking printer; easy to set up with wifi

Sleep mode does not work when you talk on extension telephone line

This model, suitable for heavy-duty personal use or up to medium-duty use as a shared printer in a micro office, also delivers more-than-acceptable speed and most, if not all, of the MFP features you probably want. It costs a little more than comparable MFPs, but if you need the M2885FW's ($124.99 at Dell Technologies) level of output quality, that can be enough to justify the expense. The printer's size, weight, and paper handling put it in the same class as both the Dell Multifunction Printer - E515dw ($124.99 at Dell Technologies) and the Canon imageClass MF227dw ($124.99 at Dell Technologies) , our Editors' Choice monochrome laser MFP for heavy-duty personal use or up to medium-duty use in a micro office. All three printers are small enough to easily find room for, even in a small office, and light enough for one person to move i...
