When I first hooked this thing up, it wouldn't go full screen with the suggested screen resolution. If you have this problem, just change the scaling on your video card. It is not an HDMI issue.

Edit - this monitor was $100 at the time I bought it Bright vivid monitor for cheap - I bought this to replace an aging second monitor and I'm very happy with my purchase. I like to do what I call a "window drag test" between two monitors to compare color settings and pixel resolution.
Good picture quality and brightness. It's not particularly tall when standing (fixed height) so you may need to prop it up with something. One feature I would loved to have seen is the ability to change the backlight brightness rather than just the image brightness/contrast as it can be a little too...
