Samsung has certainly brought the 10.1 inch Note on in this new edition and there are lots of really nice features. Still, this is an expensive tablet and you are going to have to really want that pen based input to stump up.

poor charging capability

Samsung didn't provide adequate charging capacity. You can't use the tablet and charge at the same time. The charger loses ground to the current used by the device. Cranking down brightness doesn't help either.

Built-in speakers; Bright display; Realistic color

very poor charging capacity

Kind of Dissapointed

I bought a n8010 in October 2013 (Just before they changed to the identical "2014 Edition"). Earlier this year Samsung announced this new version which is essentially identical to the 2012 one with kit-kat on it.

Nice screen; hardware features

Horrible Samsung OS updates (non-existent

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 review: Flying first class

Lightweight, agile and simply affordable, seven-inchers did, at one point, seem capable of pushing ten-inch Android tablets out of business. Even Samsung, with its device-for-every-taste approach had to admit defeat.

10.1" 16M-color Super Clear PLS capacitive touchscreen of 2560 x 1600 px resolution, Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7, Mali-T628MP6 GPU; Exynos 5420 chipset, 3GB of RAM, Android OS v4.3 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz UX UI, S Pen input and great software backend, One of a kind...

No NFC; No DivX and AC3 codec support; Air view works with S-Pen only; no thumb support; Notification area not optimized for the large screen

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 is a bit of a Swiss Army Knife, in that it offers a slightly compromised tool for almost every job you could imagine. If you demand supreme flexibility from your full-size tablet above all else, then the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 is pretty tough to beat.

Samsung are the big success story when it comes to Android, they dominate the market with sales figures, profits and a huge market share with their "Galaxy" range of devices; the Galaxy S range of phones and the Galaxy Note range of phones and tablets.

3GB of RAM; the benefits of which are easy to notice when you're hammering the device; Cat4 LTE; empowering mobility and convenience; Storage expandable by Micro SD; A decent main camera

It's quite heavy; especially for those considering an upgrade from a smaller tablet; The notifications are poorly presented; and not optimised for a large screen; There's no NFC; but on a tablet this might not matter much; The hardware buttons are a bit intrusive and increase the bezel width...

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 SM-P601 has certainly everything that a new generation tablet should have. It has a nice design (perhaps the best among 10.1 inch tablets) and powerful hardware including octa core processor and 3 GB RAM, 8220 mAh battery etc.

A very useful stylus and user interface for creative persons as well as executives; Many connectivity options including SIM calling; User friendly design for easy handling

No flip cover; Camera could have been better; It has Powerful hardware but shows some lags occasionally

Much like you, we've lost count on the number of devices that Samsung has launched over the past several months, but here we have yet another Android-based tablet that's quite a mouthful to pronounce. Yes, introducing the brand new Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 2014 Edition.
