The Samsung J4 Plus' limited specifications are easier to stomach in a cheap budget phone and you could argue that the £40 savings on the J6 Plus have been made in the right places.
Extra large screen for less; Nice design for the price; Decent camera
micro-USB charging; Poor performance
6-inch display; dual-SIM; LTE and NFC; accurate GPS; Android 8.1 Oreo; decent 13 MP rear-facing camera; face unlock; bright IPS display; long battery life
only a Micro-USB 2.0 port; no fingerprint sensor; poor Wi-Fi; performance in games is limited; no fast charging
The Samsung Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ are the South Korean phonemaker's latest mid-range models for the Indian market. These upgraded "Plus" models have arrived within months of the Galaxy J4 and Galaxy J6 .
Good; Looks attractive; Good battery life; Good; Looks attractive; Good battery life
Bad; No fingerprint sensor; Poor performance; Disappointing cameras; Too expensive for what it offers; Bad; Poor performance; Disappointing cameras; Too expensive for what it offers
It's not enough for a phone to just be cheap any more. There are so many affordable handsets vying for your attention now that it can take a lot to stand out and striking that balance between affordability and features can be tricky, but the Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus gives it a good shot.
Good camera; Big screen; Dolby Atmos support
Weak processor; Bland design; Similar to lots of other phones
The Samsung Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ are the latest in the Korean smartphone maker's budget range. The two phones sport largely the same specifications, with key differences being in the RAM, storage and rear camera.
