Samsung Galaxy Express Review
As powerful as a Galaxy S3, Compact, lightweight design, Bright, colorful display, Long battery life
Too many AT&T apps, Low screen resolution, Poor speaker quality
When carriers offer a smartphone for free (or $1) on contract it often means that the device has some problems. It's usually a warning sign to steer clear. That's not always the case, though. Samsung's Galaxy Express on AT&T is one of those nice, cheap exceptions to the rule.

Review Samsung Galaxy Express GT-I8730 Smartphone
The graphics chip has already demonstrated its laudable performance during our review of the HTC One SV , but again, it does not beat the Google Nexus 4 . Rather, it remains on par with the HTC phone, staying slightly ahead of both the Sony Xperia T and the Huawei Ascend D1 .

Lag-free smooth Android Jelly Bean experience, Spacious 4.5-inch display
Low-resolution screen, Camera is a compromise
This is a review of the European version of the Samsung Galaxy Express. The Samsung Galaxy Express is also available under the same name on AT&T in the United States, but in a modified version.

Samsung Galaxy Express review: Jelly Bean Express
Quad-band GSM, 3G, and LTE support, 21.1 Mbps HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA support, 4.5" 16M-color Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen of WVGA (480 x 800 pixel) resolution, Android OS 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with Nature UX, 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8930 Krait CPU, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 5MP
No dedicated camera key, Preinstalled video player lacks DivX video support, Poor low-light camera performance, WVGA resolution wears thin on the 4.5" screen
The Samsung Galaxy Express represents an interesting mix of features. The latest Jelly Bean flavor, the impressively fast processor, the LTE connectivity, the spectacular 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, and the Galaxy S III looks are all attention-grabbers.

awesome product only 2 small personal complaints
2 small complaints. one is it is a little large for my hand but I know 8 year olds with bigger hands then mine. Seond there must be an easier way to get out of an app. your in then hitting RETURN numerous times til you r back at the beginning.

best purchase ever
This week I purchase a Galaxy Express mobile phone. I went to pair it my car bluetooth only to discover it is not compatible. Samsung have changed the softwear Bluetooth to version 4 and have not provided car owners with the ability to upgrade the car Bluetooth from version 3.

"It`s a great mid range phone. Size is just right for my hands and inside pocket. Good battery life. Your are paying alot less than S3 yet have most of S3 features, it's steal. Running on Jelly Bean is fast and fliud.

S3 incognito...compared all the stats and they are mostly all the same. The Express name is (tm) for AT&T GoPhone...check it out yourself. Finally an awesome Galaxy platform for prepaid at a somewhat reasonable price.
ease of use , 4g lte , motion and nfc
I have been wanting a galaxy S platform smartphone for a while Now but didnt want to pay nor could afford to pay for them as a prepaid customer. I tried several smartphones out the as well as many of the cheaper prepaid companies out there and have to say I am staying put for a long time.

Phone is brand new and packed in original packaging. I haven't activated it yet. I am waiting on a SIM card from Straight Talk. The phone looks great! So far I am really pleased and feel this was a great buy, I will add more once my SIM card comes and I activate the phone with service.

Great cheap phone
Really good value for money. The phone comes with a standard rom that laggs the phone a bit, but good screen, good sound quality and a very nice camera. All in all a good phone and I was really surprised by the quick delivery (right to my door).

Will not power on, 1 down another 1 to go.
Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, broke, overpriced, unrealiable
The phone is a good phone and compairable to the GS3. Shuold have came with Jelly Bean, ICS is so 2012/2011.. Taken away 8GB of memory and 3 MP from the camera should be fine, and is fine but taken away the LED notification from this device is not ok, even the skyrocket has LED's.
