Good but should be better

Have only bought Philips shavers since 1965 and have always bought top of the range or near top of the range. This is the second shaver I have bought of this design and although the 9000 series does a good job it does not excel.

gentle on sensitive skin really nice to hold; circular shaving action is a natural movement; philips shavers are generally very reliable; easily cleaned whiskery bit totally removable; futuristic look

side trimmer good but not convenient; shaves per full charge seems low; can't get charger in travel case

Very good but room for Improvement

I have previously been a wet shave razor user and recently decided to convert to electric shaving. This shaver is very good in my opinion. It gives a nice clean shave and leaves my skin feeling nice and smooth with no irritations. I also love that you can still wet shave with this.

Great shaver - worth the extra money

I have owned 2 or 3 Philips Coolskin shavers previously. The last needed replacing as the battery would not hold its charge. After lots of research I bought the most expensive wet razor from Philips. It is the best that I have owned so far.

A good shaver is one of those essential man must-haves, that is if you haven't fully embraced the lumbersexual trend and gone for a beard that makes Gandalf look like a prepubescent boy.
