[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent upgraded shaver from Phillips. The 3 heads a perfect for trimming stubble and the extra trimmer is great for keeping a beard at bay. Being able to wash the shaver out under water and then clean it in the smart wash dock is excellent. It keeps the shaver like it is new all the time, whilst charging it. The dock is a bit on the large side, but has to be to achieve what it needs to do and have a worthwhile amount of cleaning fluid in it. Battery on it is 50 minutes or so on the normal setting, this does reduce slightly if you use the turbo mode, which I would advise to do. Overall an excellent shaver and would recommend it.

After I’d been using this shaver for about a year the shaver head would separate from the shaver body during shaving; this became more frequent and irritating as weeks went by and made it impossible to shave without holding the head and body together! Under the terms of the Warranty Philips replaced this shaver with a similar model but the same thing happened after about a year in use. Initially I found this shaver difficult to hold without accidentally pressing the on/off switch but I found a way to grip it so that I wasn’t accidentally pressing the switch, but that wasn’t comfortable. I’ve stopped using this shaver model and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first Rotary electric shaver. I have previously used foil shavers. The product did the job of shaving my two day stubble with no issues, although i did find i needed to change my technique a little to ensure all small hairs in awkard places (under chin etc) were properly cut. Battery life is advertised as 50 minutes but i cannot confirm this as i recharged it after two 5 minute shaves just be sure. The product looks stylish and is indeed wet and dry as advertised (used in the shower with no ill effect) . I will report back with my findings after further use as I feel I am still adapting to the new shaver style.
