basic
Basic good cheap. No it is NOT a disposable camera but it has to go places where it is going to get bashed or worse but it will be used. Having said that it swallowed its battery needs recharging.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS20
Panasonic has an unusual position in the digital camera market. While most other manufacturers have both premium and budget ranges, the Japanese electronics giant has ignored the lower end of the scale and concentrated on high-price, high spec compacts.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS20 Review
Each step up in the FS series gives you clear resolution, screen, and/or zoom improvements, and while these are key upgrades rather than feature bloat, at $50 a jump MSRP, these steps aren't exactly cheap to climb. At less than $200, the FS3 played the part of a much more expensive camera.Product details
