Does everything expected of it. Still working my way around the menu to get the best results, under differing conditions. Used on a recent holiday and I'm satisfied with the results so far. I'm sure it will live up to it's reputation.

External microphone input terminal does not work with a 3.5mm stereo mini jack unless I insert the jack in only half way. If I insert the jack in all the way, the mic will not work. I have two brand new mics that I want to use.
I bought my x920 in March 2015 mainly for the video quality and the fact it could take high quality stills using it's built in flash. I am very impressed with it's video and audio quality but VERY, VERY disappointed with it's still picture quality.
I use this camera for B roll and for the back up camera to Panasonics AG150 and 90A. This camera takes very good video and the separate chips give clarity to the image. The IA (intelligent auto) setting is very good and can get you what you need in a hurry when you do not have time to setup and you...
Great little unit, slips into the hand well, nice bright viewfinder and the screen is not bad in bright light either.Stick to the optical zoom and don`t bother with the I zoom at upto 25 times. It really destroys the image.
Digital Zoom Is Not Worth
I bought this to record my son's band. Discovered Night/Color on the fly. Wow - my new favorite feature
Good Image Stabilization; Good in Low Light; Great Picture Quality; Great Sound; Large Clear LCD
Complicated To Operate
The camera works very well. Using it for side jobs. Small and easy to use. I have connected an external mike to make interviews a snap. I purchased with a package which made it easy to get started.
To upgrade from my Panasonic HC X900, because it has much larger 3 C mos system giving better image clarity and low light ability. The big plus is the image stabilization result of the HC-X920m, (The M stands for inbuilt memory option only and has no other benefits) maybe due to the larger 3 C mos...
I use this for general shooting. It has enough manual control to make your videos creative. It is very good in low light and has a very fine grain which is pleasing to the eye. The gain can only be adjusted when the iris is wide open.
Easy to Use; Good Image Stabilization; Good in Low Light; Great Picture Quality; Great Sound; Great Zoom; Large Clear LCD; Zoom range/performance
The Panasonic HC-X920 ($999.99 list) is the most expensive consumer camcorder in the company's lineup, and also the most full-featured. It uses a 3-sensor design, one to capture each primary color, and includes a manual focus ring, an accessory shoe, and an EVF.
