I've tried multiple laptops, PCs, iMac and this hub simply doesn't work. The blue light is illuminated but nothing connected to it is visible on the PC. It does let you charge multiple items BUT cannot be used to say, connect an external HDD and a mouse to a computer using the hub and one USB port.

This item is a handy bonus to your setup, allows you to connect more usb devices at once and saves the hassle of switching them out every time. Mine immediately became a permanent part of my setup, I really like it.

It does exactly what it says it does on the tin. It allows me to have many more peripherals connected to my PC than my motherboard default USB connectors allows me to. If you get the USB 3.0 hub it allows me to have almost double the usual USB 3.0 connections than I usually do.

Works exactly as intended, great for working from home. 4 ports are enough to connect all other accessories and it fits in computer bag with the other accessories. And at a great price!
