I NEED A FAST START UP AND IT DOES WELL
Automatic duplex printing, usb and network connectivity. Easy setup and excellent output.
The shipment time was excellent even for someone out in the sticks. Much improvement on the quality & performance of this machine against my last printer (Samsung). Knowing that this has a good guarantee is very reassuring.
This Oki B412dn printer is reliable and prints very quickly at 33ppm. Advantages: Automatic duplex printing option, no more manual flipping of pages to get a double sided document! Disadvantages: Not wireless.
great value for money
Inexpensive to buy and use, this compact LED printer churns out good-looking prints quickly and cheaply-exactly what an entry-level model of its class should do.
Very competitive cost per page; and low price; High-quality output; Decent print speeds; 100-sheet override tray; large-capacity drawers; and supports additional big tray
Wi-Fi costs extra; Limited mobile-device support
You need the USB and ip driver if you install as a USB printer. For some reason it doesn't include it in a single driver pack. After you get past that, it works great. Fast, crisp and unbeatable unit with Ethernet built in.
The OKI B412dn ($199) is the sort of compact but powerful beast that's small enough to share a desk with, but capable enough to serve as a shared printer. Low running cost; Relatively small; Built-in duplexer and 350-sheet capacity standard, with 880-sheet maximum; Ethernet connectivity
Small font sizes look gray; rather than dark black; making them hard to read
Kind of sad. I went to an old stalwart like Oki after being appealed by the flimsy modern designs from
Looks like solid hardware, old design that works well; High monthly page duty cycle is appealing for heavy users
Included drivers are insanely bad; Windows 7 didn't want to install by any normal means; OS X didn't like the included drivers either; EMBARRASSINGLY annoying
The OKI B412dn ($199) is the sort of compact but powerful beast that's small enough to share a desk with, but capable enough to serve as a shared printer. Built around an LED engine—which means it substitutes LEDs for a laser as its light source—it's technically not a laser printer, but it uses the same technology otherwise, which is why most people don't draw a distinction between LED and laser printers. More important, compared head-to-head with actual laser printers, it can be an attractive choice. The B412dn ($199.00 at Office Depot® & OfficeMax®) is a close competitor in many ways to the Brother HL-5450DN , which is our Editors' Choice moderate- to heavy-duty monochrome laser for personal use or for shared printing in a micro office or workgroup. In particular, it offers slightly better paper handling. Both printers come with a 250-sheet paper tray and duplexer (for two-sided printing) standard. Both also include a multipurpose tray. However, the B412dn's tray holds 100 shee...
