I do enjoy using this camera with the 18-55mm kit lens when I don't feel like carting all of my FF equipment around. However, there is one large annoyance: having to use a menu to change major settings, especially ISO! Also, the viewfinder could be a bit better.

While I preferred a different bag, I love this camera. It performs great and I am having a fun time learning it. The two included lenses have been all I need so far but I like that I can buy others that fit this camera.

Great camera so far. Very user friendly. However I am going to have to buy a cable to connect the camera to my laptop in order to use my photos. The Nikon Snapbridge app is useless. After spending over an hour trying to connect to my camera I was unable to download a single picture using the app.

After owning Minolta, Canon and Pentax over the years I finally purchased a Nikon DSLR. The package deal was very attractive and affordable so I dove in and have been playing with the lenses and camera ever since. Coming from my experience with 35mm film SLRs I've adapted to the D3500 pretty well.
