Janky, but Amazing

Nier is a tough sell, but if you can look past the graphics and somewhat basic gameplay, you'll find a fantastic fantasy narrative about a father going to end of the earth to save his daughter.

Spiritual Successor to Drakengard. Plot: fantastic. Prepare to break your heart. Music: Stellar. Seriously has one of the best soundtracks to any game ever.

The case arrived with a crack on the bottom and the disc had a few scratches on it. However, the game seems to run correctly and it did have the original instruction booklet included.

OXCGN's Nier Review: Taste like ‘piss on a campfire'?

It's not a fully immersive role-playing game, nor is it a stylised action romp. Nier is a muddled concoction of ideas that don't quite coalesce. There are moments where brightness shines through, and one begins to think they've misjudged the game, but these occurrences are rare and fleeting.

NIER

The game does start out a bit slow. The storyline is a bit confusing when you start it. The first part has you fighting monsters in a snowy city, and the next part is "1,300 years later." The story can be very mind boggling, unless you actually play through the game.

Buy Nier

Such a underrated game by developer Cavia who went out of business after this game was released by Square Enix. You play a "Nier"(you have the option to change his name) and you're a middle age father trying to save his daughter in the dead of winter in post apocalyptic world when all strange twist...
