If you have multiple devices at home (smartphone, ipad, laptop, etc.) this device will have to be rebooted and reconfigured eveery week. Total waste of time. When it is working, it shows you full bars, BUT, that can be fake... it will NEVER plan streaming content like youtube or netflix.

The antennas are not detachable so I had to use a different extender. Without a hi-gain antenna the connection dropped constantly. Another problem - this unit is designed to plug into an outlet and the signal may not be strong enough there.

I decided to purchase this "range extender" and I had trouble immediately from set up. I tried contacting NetGear and after spending around 4 hours on the phone with their technical support I got absolutely nowhere. A real waste of money. Very upsetting.

I was experiencing problems with being able to connect to my parents network. I have a Cisco router on the upper floor in my office in one corner of the house. But my living room is on the main floor at the opposite corner. Most of my WiFi devices (smartphones, tables and laptops) were only getting about 1-2 bars of signal and pretty weak speeds.

Just plug it in and turn it on. Set up is fairly easy - you just need to get the extender and the modem to connect, set up a SSID and password for the extender, and you're in business. It provides a strong stable connection. Too easy!

It's a massive pain in the neck to set up and since upgrading to the Netgear N600, it doesn't even work at all. Avoid.

I ordered this one Saturday afternoon and got it the very next morning. Flipkart has exceeded expectations in terms of service by a large margin. It took less than 2 minutes to setup the device with my Dlink DIR-655 router with WPS. No software installation needed whatsoever.
