I had a problem. I was on virgins 200mbps broadband but my virgin 2.0ac modem was downstairs in the living room whilst my gaming computer was upstairs in the bedroom underneath a desk and had no wifi card.

Easy to Install....and good wifi strength in every corner of my house.....!!! MUST BUY
Flawless performance. Walls are invisible to this beast!
My own experience was the supposed ease of set up! That is something I have never had before! Y The print on the router was very small and although I do not have eye sight problems I had to call in help!
Nothing stays still in the electronics and computer industries at least not for long so something better always emerges not long after even the best model out there has rolled out of the factory.

Top of the pile. Thanks
Had it for one day and took it back. Don't get me wrong its fast and great, BUT wifi range is very very poor for the price tag here. Don't expect any wifi range out of it what so ever.
Attractive package and very easy CDless set up from the box using the Netgear Genie app. AC performance at close range using the netgear USB AC adapter seems fair c 450 mbs however long range ac performance still to be tested as still waiting for the Netgear EX6200 ac wireless extender to be...
This is Netgear's second 802.11ac wireless router following the Netgear R6300 . Unlike its rivals Netgear hasn't taken a generational leap, but instead made the first wireless ac router with integrated DSL modem and done so at a relatively affordable price.
Superb 802.11ac performance; Intuitive user interface; Fair asking price
Large and ugly; ADSL2+ rather than VDSL modem; Weak 802.11n 2.4GHz range
The 802.11ac wireless standard is yet to be ratified, but that hasn't stopped the big names in networking from launching forward-looking products that promise speeds up to three times faster than incumbent 802.11n.
