We bought the 2009 urban duo and completely have buyers remorse. I researched for a long time and I seemed that this would be the perfect double stroller for my kids but it's so heavy that I can barely get it in/out of my car ( I have a large suv).

extremely happy, would buy a mountain buggy again without a second thought. easier to use than my single valco. steers wonderfully, heaps of room for growing children. weight is distruputed evenly even with a toddler and a new baby. can't say anything bad about this pram
We have twins, the Mountain Buggy Duo, purchased from Mothers World, has been great. It is a bit bulky, so smaller cars it is hard to transport. We have 7mth old twins and it has had them transported around since they were born.
A very nice, sturdy and above all light and manoeuvrable buggy. On the whole, I'm very satisfied with this buggy!
Double the adventure, but not the width. The Duet, Mountain Buggy's new side by side, is only 65cm (68cm with bumper bar attached) wide and is easy to manoeuvre around the city whilst handling the demands of rugged terrain with ease.
The narrowest side by side double to date; Small and agile; Multi-position recline including almost flat; Extra safety feature on harness; Easy twist and slide harness adjustment
Fold is on the large size; Basket access is a little tight
I was drawn to the duet because of it's ultra slimline frame. Other side by sides claim to fit through doorways, but I had heard of people having problems, so at just 63cm this model was fantastic. I never had any problems getting it anywhere.
Not had to use this yet as we are in the middle of a heat wave but I have checked it and am really impressed with the quality, also like the fact it comes in a neat little bag which you can attach to the handlebar, overall I am really pleased with both buggy( Mountain Buggy Duet) and the rain cover.
Overall I am very pleased that we decided (after much research and deliberation) on this buggy for our baby and toddler. We did not like the idea of the double decker styles and although some tandems offered more flexible seating options many reviews gave me the opinion that they can become quite...
The width of this side by side is the biggest pro for me but there are others too: It is easy to push, can even push it one handed along the flat; the seats fully recline; the hoods have windows so you can see both children, but there are flaps if you want to cover these up; the raincover fits very...
Although this is a very positive review overall I have to say our Duet is currently out of use due to a dodgy front wheel and tyre; The tyre split and the wheel was falling off, also the brake started playing up, possibly as a result of the wheel issue.
Great easy to get around in t country
Just bought the new version of the Duet. Am loving it. It has a fast one-handed fold mechanism and the buggy then stands up when it's folded. A huge plus point for us! The carrycots are new as well and can convert into parent facing seats....that's been really useful for my little one.
