From Dust Review

The challenge mode takes the concept of From Dust and further condenses it. Whereas before you had a map and over 20 minutes you'd beat it after overcoming a series of obstacles, the challenge mode starts you off with a single challenge with some specific rules on what you can do as The Breath and...

The objective-based maps; The Challenge Mode; Exploding trees

The difficulty spikes; Some trial and error; Underwhelming conclusion to the story

From Dust

There's little to differentiate the masked men of From Dust as they scurry around the world, looking for sanctuary among the forces of nature. Take part in their salvation by becoming the Breath, a force capable of inhaling and exhaling the very earth itself, and later lava, water, and more.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe

For a good few years now, some have been harping on about the beat ‘em up as a dying genre, a stable of games fast becoming irrelevant and anachronistic. From Dust

Anybody who has even glanced at From Dust can tell you that it is unique. Describing it in simple terms is quite difficult indeed, which is strangely ironic, for the game is, itself, deceptively simple.

From Dust Review

Playing god is a risky business; there are always unforeseen consequences. Case in point: my worshipers settle a new village upon an island -- only to find their homes washed away by regular tsunamis.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe (PS3) Review

MK vs. DC actually managed to bring two different universes together rather well. While I initially hated the concept *and still do* the storyline especially considering that this is a fighting game was done well.

Gamescom 2010: From Dust preview

One of the more pleasant surprises to come out of GamesCom this year is From Dust (previously known as Project Dust), a downloadable title from one of Ubisoft's smaller French teams.

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe brings together the heroes and villains from two extremely popular worlds, and has them all battle it out in (what else?) mortal kombat. The fighting system is that of the recent Mortal Kombat games.

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe (PS3)

It goes without saying that Midway has been attempting all kinds of things to fit their 2D brawler into the 3D arena since the launch of the original PlayStation and one has to applaud them for at least trying.
