The original model may have been beset with hardware failures, but Microsoft's Xbox 360 is still our favourite games console of the current generation – thanks to smooth HD graphics, an amazing range of software, a great joypad and a well-conceived online service.

Last month, at the E3 entertainment show in Los Angeles, CA, Microsoft unveiled a new slimmer, and considerably more silent Xbox 360. The new unit is selling for $299, with notable features such as integrated Wi-Fi and the inclusive 250GB hard drive.

This is a good upgrade to the current 360.

XBOX 360 is The Worst Console EVER I Had 1 Wich The THE RROD So i got Rid of it & Got a Sony PS3 And Its WAY Better Than The 360,Blu-ray Games, Free Online, Charchable Controllers (instead of changing batteries) Ant The Controllers are easy to use not a brick like the Xbox Controllers.

We always thought that Xbox 360 was made by Microsoft because it looked at Sony's play station consoles as substitutes for computers and not to mention the great gaming experience. But then Microsoft has worked really hard and since then it hasn't looked back.

a good console for the money you pay the fan sounds like it cost 10p and at is quite likely that it will get the red rings of death.

Its a cheap alternative to a ps3.

we bought the xbox 360 to be a media extender for media center, the gaming part was just a bonus. after some deliberation, research and talking to friends with the different bundles we determined the 60gb bundle would more than satisfy our needs in the gaming dept.

Despite its hardware issues, the Xbox 360 is the best of the current gen consoles when it comes to pure, hardcore gaming. It’s got the best online service and the best selection of games - and throws in some strong media skills to boot.
