Electronic Arts have shamefully tried to replicate Activision's success by producing a game that mimics Modern Warfare so closely that you could be...
Occasionally enjoyable in places; Some good set pieces
Very short single player; Too many bugs; Little longevity/replayability; Graphics very poor
Medal of Honor is a FPS (First Person Shooter) developed for EA by Danger Close and DICE. For years the focus on FPS War titles was WWI and WWII, but in recent years developers have been incorporating present day themes. Medal of Honor is one such title from EA in late 2010.
A new candidate for the most disappointing game of 2010, Medal of Honor doesn't deliver on any of its promises.
A successful first-person shooter must cover three things at the very least. First, solid gameplay basics to give the game a strong core. Second, some originality to set it apart from the other first-person shooters out there, since comparisons will obviously be made. Third, a fun multiplayer that...
It's been roughly three years since we last saw any addition to the Medal of Honor series.
Great single-player experience; Subtle touches at realism; Very fun & refined combat
Poorly executed multiplayer experience; Plentiful frame rate issues
EA never seemed to recover back when the guys at 2015 Studios closed up shop and quit to create Infinity Ward and the Call of Duty franchise. These guys had been working on successful Medal of Honor games, but they left due to EA trying to crush them in the iron grip of creative control, all for a...
Don't get this game. You should buy the first Medal of Honor. Campaign seems too controlled, but it is playable and fun. I tried playing multiplayer, but there are literally no servers to play on so that's a dead end.
When the Call of Duty franchise boldly went where no World War II franchise had dared to venture before-the less-explored world of modern warfare-they drew a big line in the sand, tempting their biggest competing franchise to follow suit.
Some genuinely tense moments of immersion; Fantastic pacing from the middle of the game onwards; Brilliant sound design
Game-destroying bugs; Linear mission structure; Short campaign; Questionable hit registry; Confused multiplayer design
