I purchased this monitor after a ton of research. I wanted a 27", 1440p monitor that didn't break the bank. It's a 165hz panel that is G-sync compatible, so the variable refresh rate works with Nvidia or AMD graphics cards. It has one of the best pixel response rates for an IPS monitor (up there with the very popular LG 27GL850), so there is less blur or overshoot during fast movements. As soon as I plugged it in I noticed two dead pixels and it has developed another dead pixel. After looking online other people are having this issue also.

I bought this product, looking like a very well designed monitor for IPS, 1440p, with no issues of Backlight Bleeding, good color contrast and overall good reviews. Better than cheaper 1440p monitors, with the MSI logo to vouch for the Quality. The love the changing panel with different modes. However, me personally, changing the monitor to RTS mode hurts my eyes looking at it for longer than 5 minters. No qualms with this screen what so ever. Have seen a few reviews about dead pixels on these monitors and can confirm that this is not true for all of them - I see no dead pixels, no issues what so ever. Clean and crisp, highly recommended.
