Do NOT buy this terrible game.

No freedom, Walking for ridiculous amounts of time for no reason, no legitimate side missions within the first three hours. Absolute garbage. This is why Capcom shouldn't give the reigns to another company.

Lost Planet 3 review – spark of interest

Can it be third time lucky for Capcom's ice-bound shooter series, or will its mix of giant robots and even larger monsters fail to find a warm greeting?

The story and pacing is unusually subdued for the first third of the game, creating a great sense of place and character; Surprisingly good script

The third person shooter action is appallingly uninteresting and the giant robot element is wasted; Mediocre visuals, too much loading, and rubbish boss battles

Not that good

Nowhere near as good as the first two, feels more of a chore than a game, its nothing special, also having issues with the disk not reading properly. Personally not really bothered about this, they have lost the plot and its pretty boring

Lost Planet 3

Ignore the number on the box: Lost Planet 3 is actually a prequel to Capcom's previous alien-blasters, set long before the sub-zero antics of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition . That's on paper.

+ Entertaining multiplayer maintains the unique feel of past games

- Mech combat is mundane and cumbersome; on-foot action less distinct, - Middling campaign lacks excitement, has notable glitches, ? Is this the end for Capcom's once-great series?

The cold truth

Great story that focuses on ordinary people in an unfriendly circumstance; Akrid Survival mode is tense and exciting

Repetitive encounters in repetitive environments; Execution stumbles dampen the action; Loses what made the series unique; both online and off

Lost Planet 3 review – Leaving you cold

Despite looking the part, and having some of the best voice work in a third person shooter, Lost Planet 3 turns the gun on itself with bad gameplay design, terrible boss battles, and a story that never delivers on its promises.

Some Things Aren't Worth Being Found | Lost Planet 3 Review

The Lost Planet series started back in 2006 with a sequel released in 2010 before the third game was released just last month. The best way to describe the series is a mix between Avatar and Starship Troopers .

+Good Protagonist; +Well Scripted

-Dull Gameplay; -Very Repetitive

Lost Planet 3 Review

Ken bears the frigid cold to check out the latest Lost Planet title.

+ Interesting story; + Moments of brilliance; + Cool environments

Shooting is generic; Inconsistency; Mech quicktime events; Useless multiplayer

Lost Planet 3 Review – Xbox 360 (Also on PlayStation 3)

If you were a fan of the first two titles, this one is quite a shift. If you want another story in the series, go ahead, it's not bad. If you just want a fun game, there is some to find here, definitely, but there are also better options.

Lost Planet 3 (X360) - Review

The Lost Planet series has seen a storied and tumultuous development process since the original, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition , was released way back in 2007. Extreme Condition came as a surprise hit, yet Lost Planet 2 stripped everything that made Extreme Condition unique and entertaining to...
