good router, should/could be better

I also had WRT1900AC version 1, comparing with WRT1900ACS. You can't feel the difference between two although WRT1900ACS with faster CPU( from 1.2GHz to 1.6GHz) and more ram: 512MB, it's interesting WRT1900ACS canceled cooling fan, why

light-point on hardware, very powerful: dual-core 1.6GHz CPU, 128MB flash; 512MB RAM, high capacity to link many devices, good cell apps, USB3.0 port, no problem to stream HD video, could be a family NAS, openwrt, dd-wrt compatible

poor factory web-gui; no QOS; wifi range is not impressive; no real VPN; pricey; poor package ( refurbished product

Mediocre Electronics

I purchased this router with intentions of gaining some extra signal strength and speed. I don't have a lot running at one time. Two cell phones , one tablet and one steaming device, Ruku. My previous router was an older D-Link with 2 antennas.

Linksys released its flagship WRT1900AC, 802.11ac router a good few months ago now, and our intention was to bring you our review after one month of solid usage. The key word here is 'solid', as it's something that this router failed to exhibit in its performance during our initial tests.

Simple set up and good ease of use; Solid overall 802.11ac performance; USB hard drive sharing was swift

Initial instability caused us to wait for Linksys to issue a firmware update; Some aspects of the Web interface could use refinement

Linksys WRT1900AC

There's only one way to say this, the Linksys WRT1900AC is one kickass router. A behemoth in size, speed and capabilities, the WRT1900AC could be the router to end all other routers. The only catch is its price.

Linksys WRT-1900AC Router: Australian Review

Do you need an expensive 4K TV? Probably not. Unless you're running a high-end PC gaming rig, you'll be watching upscaled Blu-ray and DVD content anyway, which makes spending a fortune on a 4K TV pointless. Kogan's 4K TV, though, is only $1500, and it's surprisingly good for the price.

Linksys has released its latest and greatest consumer wi-fi router – the WRT1900AC – in Australia for faster and wider wireless coverage in the home. We rely on wi-fi so much in our homes nowadays and the demand for speed and range is increasing.

Linksys WRT1900ACS Wireless Router Review

I am sure most of you are familiar with the Linksys WRT54G , a router that appeared in 2002 and was one of the first reliable devices of its kind, it was easy to use, affordable and most important, the software was open source.

Fast speed; Great coverage; Supports Open Source firmwares; eSATA and USB 3.0; Restarts quickly

A bit expensive; The default software is lacking

Amazing Range! Great Speeds

I bought this during the End of Year Madness sale as an impulse purchase and I do not regret it at all! This is an amazing product, has great range throughout the house and the setup is so simple! Has an app that I can monitor my network 24/7 even if I'm not at home which is awesome!
