This router is fast. A little on the expensive side but well worth it. I have a tri-level house, and have to have the modem and router in my basement. With my old router I'd be lucky to get 10 up/5 down, with spotty signal connection.

First router worked for 30 minutes, contacted B&H customer service, they were outstanding. I got an RMA within minutes and had a brand new unit within a week. The Linksys WRT1900ACS works like a champ! Lightning fast and good coverage.
I upgraded this router from another Linksys router that was only about 3 years old and kept dropping the Wifi signal. After about a week, this new router (WRT1900ACS) started dropping the Wifi signal as well (ethernet connection was fine).
Nothing
Terrible
It's hard to convey the gravity of how well this router has performed from the day it came out of the box. The entire infrastructure of our IT consulting business is based out of our home office, so the demands we have placed on this router have not been small, and it has delivered.
Although Linksys is approaching it's 30th anniversary in business; they didn't make on to most people's radar until the ubiquitous WRT54G hit the market in 2002 (of which I have owned and hacked many).
There's little to complain about; but some things do warrant mentioning
This router has excellent range. I have a split level home and I get 3 bars on my IPAD when I'm downstairs. The speed is phenomenal. My laptop gets over 100Mbps on Wi-Fi using the 5GHZ band.I'm not a techie, but set-up was easy. Just follow the online set-up and fill in the blanks.
Easy To Set Up; Fast; Secure

Good quality item purchased at a competitive price.
Works normally
Internet is still same speed at home
Very pleased with this router. Easy to set up.......currently using multiple devices on both 2.4 & 5 gb. Have a smart tv hard-wired to unit - a real workhorse.
After reviewing many reports on dual band routers I found that the Linksys WRT 1900AC was consistently rated high. Since I recently bought a new laptop with 5GHz capability I decided to go with this one.
Chunky beast that is about 250% larger than my previous Netgear router. Does everything that you expect. Wireless signal is stronger than I'm accustom to and the smart app allows convenient remote access to admistration and settings. My PC transfer rates have jumped from 100Mbps to 1Gbps.
Connected router to my existing modem and switch and was up and running in 30 minutes. Great wifi signal, router is in my basement (not the best place) but reaches the 2nd floor with at least 60% signal and out to the detached garage. No drops or issues in the first two weeks.
signal strength dlna capable with usb 3.0 easy gui navigation dd-wrt capable retro blue box look
Good for plug and play users; advanced users may have better luck with dd-wrt firmware or another router Price is high even on sale
