Lego Rockband rocks!!!

We've had this game now for over a month. We have 2 girls aged 5 & 7 and they love it. They enjoy being able to select their character and customize it to look like themselves (or how they want to look). Tutorials are well done and easy to follow.

Surprisingly fun

Ok, so I played Rock Band and Guitar Hero. I also played some LEGO games, but when this was released I had grown out of the LEGO games, (however that's probably because no new LEGO games had been released besides this) so I thought I wasn't going to get this. Well I had some spare cash and got it.

PS3/X360 Review - 'LEGO Rock Band'

We've seen a lot of music rhythm games this year. I was running through this year's titles from Harmonix, EA and Activision, and so far, we've had Band Hero , The Beatles: Rock Band, DJ Hero , Guitar Hero 5 , Guitar Hero Metallica and Guitar Hero Smash Hits .

I haven't been too keen on the idea of dumbing down music games to make them more appealing to an even younger generation. I mean, Guitar Hero, and especially RockBand weren't very isolating to begin with, and their respective list of downloadable songs is diverse enough for most to enjoy.

The boys love it!

My boys (ages 11 & 7) love the game! The guitar seems a little harder to play than regular Rock Band, but overall, very fun!

This charming rhythm game is especially good for first-timers, but it's a little light on content.

It's impressive how much the minifigs have accomplished through the years, particularly when you consider that they have curved yellow pincers where their hands should be. These easily recognizable Lego figures have already starred in a series of action games that parody popular films, but they are...

Charming aesthetics; Rock Power Challenges provide an interesting combination of story and gameplay; Setlist has plenty of variety; Rocking out with friends is still great fun

No online mode; Shorter versions of songs often end too abruptly

Lego Rock Band

Lego Rock Band does everything it sets out to well and will please the family who wants a game that every generation within it can enjoy. The shallow track list and somewhat short-lived experience does harm things somewhat and stop it from getting the same accolades as its bigger brother.

Lego Rock Band

It seems like it should be the punchline to a joke, doesn't it? Like someone is pulling your leg and saying; what if they crossed those Lego: Star Wars games with Rock Band? But it's real and it's here and, ostensibly, it's aimed at the same kids and parents who bought all of the other Traveler's...

Lego Rock Band

Lego has been around for almost 50 years now. Rock Band only launched for the very first time in November 2007. But that hasn't stopped the companies involved with both properties to come together and form
