LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean

In conclusion, LPofC is certainly not a terrible game by any means. In fact, the majority of what they do is promising. The visuals are great and the storytelling for most of the journey is promising (until the plot becomes confusing).

Plundered From Past Installments

Concept: Play through whimsical retreads of the films while collecting loads of treasure Graphics: Seeing bricked-out interpretations of familiar faces and places is still a treat, even after all these years of LEGO games Sound: Characters still communicate through grunts and silly gibberish.

I got this game expecting quite a bit. The levels for this game are fun but sometimes the environments really don't change much. Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful game but it needs a little more varied environments.

I ordered 2 Xbox 360 games for my son for Christmas. Both game boxes were broken when I got them. Luckily the games were not. Packaging for shipping should be reevaluated!

Not quite the buried treasure I was looking for...

I have been a big fan of the Lego series of platform games, which begun with Lego Star Wars and had crossed over to different film franchises such as Indiana Jones or Harry Potter and this game focuses on the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

Lots to do for completists; Easy to pick up and play; Two Player co - op

Shorter than previous Lego Games; Not as interesting as other franchises

Well Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is certainly a return to good form but it isn't perfect yet.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean Review

The latest LEGO video game, LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, takes the now tried and tested formula of basic combat and platforming mixed in with simple puzzle solving, and lays it over the top of the four films starring Johnny Depp (including the yet to be released On Stranger Tides).

Lego Pirates of the Caribbean

I knew a few months back when I took a trip to Disney's offices to play Lego Pirates of the Caribbean with the game's producer, Jonathan Smith,  that it was something special. It could have been the pirate themed office we were in, the larger than life Captain Jack Sparrow replica looming over us or...
