Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes (Xbox 360)

Back in 2008, when I played the original Lego Batman, I was convinced the series was going to die. Maybe not immediately, as even some of the series most undeserving of life will flounder a bit before dying, but I was resolute on my stance: this series was going to die a slow, painful death.

Much improved over the last title; open world to explore; original story

Still very much like the last title; bad vehicle and flight controls; random glitches

Lego Batman 2 - Cartoon Joke or Pure Brilliance?

When i started playing this game i thought it had no chance of being good compared with Batman Arkham City, but to be honest you cant really compare it. It is in my opinion a fun game that you could spend hours on looking for mini kits and new characters.

Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes

If the subtitle to Lego Batman 2 has your inner fanboy yearning to team blocky Bats with his plastic friends in the Justice League, then prepare for disappointment. Sure, the DC superheroes eventually join the party in this action-adventure game based on the DC line of Lego toys, but not until the...

+ All of Gotham City is a hub to explore and search for unlockables, + The basics of Lego break-it-all gameplay are always fun; crisp visuals and huge playspaces

? Why didn't Batman join forces with the rest of the Justice League throughout the story campaign

Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes – Review (PS3, 360)

LEGO sure has come a long way since I played with it. Back then it mainly consisted of white bricks with a few primary colours chucked in for variety. Making stuff or just watching your kid sister eat it brought endless hours of pleasure.

LEGO Batman 2 Review

The dynamic duo returns in LEGO form, and this time they brought a bunch of friends.

+ Nice story backed by good voice acting; + Huge; open world; + Great fan service (Superman's theme!; + A lot to do and collect

No legend for map; Stupid computer controlled AI; Where's the online coop

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes

I love LEGO games and I'm not afraid to admit it! Under the cutesy veneer, simple gameplay meets surprisingly deep level design with clever puzzles and tons of collectibles to find and unlock.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Review

Unfortunately, the improvements to " Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes " are mostly cosmetic. Another attempt at freshening the eons-old engine, a larger hub-world than ever, and voice acting. Somehow, this seems to have fooled many of the press into thinking ‘BEZZT LEGOZ GAME EVAR!' It's not.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Review

! The gameplay here will be familiar to anyone who had the good fortune to play the first LEGO-branded Batman game. You can expect waves of enemies, a slew of destructible items scattered throughout the environment, and a ridiculous number of collectables to... well, collect.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes

Since I first played LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga a few years ago, I've been a huge fan of these games. I know a lot of people who are wary about picking any game in this series up because they feel the games are made for kids (and they are), but the truth is adults can have just as much fun...

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes – Review (Xbox 360)

It's legitimately fun and probably one of the best co-op games on the 360, but there's too much left out and too much of a missed opportunity. There's a great game here, but it's marred by a lack of creative puzzles and a sense that Traveller's Tales is going through the motions.
