You MUST buy these speakers if you hear them. Period.

These speakers WILL make you smile. I love to sit people down in front of my La Scalas for the very first time and turn on some nice music. A big smile lights up their face every time. I have a set of both series. Like one of the other reviewers said, get the money somewhere and buy a set of these.

Klipsch?La Scala II

The Klipsch La Scala came out in 1963 and was in continuous production from then until it was replaced by the "II" version in, I believe, 2006. While very similar, there are substantial differences too.

High output; low distortion; great micro and macro dynamics; smooth response; and great clarity and imaging

I bought a pair of La Scalas back in 1976. Great speakers.

I bought a pain in 1976. They still work well and are very durable. I use them with my band and the frequency response is amazing. I recommend these speakers to anyone who wants great quality! The best of all feature is they are made in the USA.
